My Time at Climb for a Child. While many other sponsorship programs, focus on impacting as many children as possible, Climb for a Child focuses on the individual — ensuring that each of the kids in the program realizes and reaches their full potential, whatever that might be. This week’s movie review was of <“ href=“https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0986264/“>Like Stars on Earth”. An exceptional story about a dyslexic child. It was especially interesting to hear the kids review of this, because my brother is dyslexic. When his condition was first discovered they didn’t have a word for it. They wanted to institutionalize him. So this is especially personal for me. He runs JD Solar Solutions, building us green future and sponsors Upendo.

Movie Review: Finding Bobby Fisher. In this movie we explore the difference between passion, natural talent, and being pushed too far. Impoverished children are often pushed just to get good grades. At Climb For A Child we need to go way beyond this in order to get the kids to become successful adults on their journey out of poverty. Movies like this give us a safe place to explore these issues.
