Eliya’s story

Climb House IT Manager

At Climb for a Child we #neverGiveUp and we #develop within. Born impoverished, Elyia is now our IT manager. #givingBack #volunteering and helping others by doing what he does best #solvingProblems

My name is Eliya Yohana and I am the IT manager at the Climb House. Some of my jobs as the IT manager include taking care of the equipment and making sure they are up to date. I also help the other kids with any computer problems. I have learnt a lot of new skills by working through problems that present themselves. I very much enjoy solving problems.

Giving Back

Eliya Volunteering at School
We teach our kids to give back. They’re more than happy to do so. They know how lucky they are

I am also involved in giving back to the community. In 2018, I went to an orphanage where there is no electricity or network. My friends and I decided to spend two nights with the kids to experience what they go through on a daily basis. We didn’t have a lot of money or cool things to give them, but we put smiles on their faces for the two nights that we were there. I am so grateful that I could do something for my community. None of these opportunities would be possible without Climb for a Child.

School Volunteer Program

#Climb for a #Child has started a weekly #teaching program. The kids are #volunteering at a local #school and helping #educate others. So #proud. One Step at a Time.
